Palm trees are some of the most unique and
beautiful trees that can be grown in the low
deserts of Arizona. As with all trees, palms
require some basic nutrients that are provided
by our Moon Dust all purpose tree and shrub

In addition, palms need a little extra of
a few nutrients (manganses, magnesium, calcium,
iron & sulfur) When used in conjunction with
regular applications of Moon Dust, 8-0-8 Palm
Supplement provides the best blend of nutrients
for growing palms in the desert. A properly
watered and fertilized palm will always look
full, green and healthy. Properly watered
and fertilized palms will stay green and resist
diseases and fungus that can infect weak,
mal-nourished palms. Whether you've got healthy
palms and want to keep them that way or you've
got some that could look healthier, Moon Valley's
8-0-8 Palm Supplement is the key to having
and maintaining healthy palms…especially queen
palms!
HOW OFTEN?
For optimum results, 8-0-8 Palm Supplement
is to be used in conjunction with regular
applications of Moon Dust all purpose tree
fertilizer. 8-0-8 Palm Supplement should be
applied 3 to 4 times per year. Early Spring,
early Summer and early Fall are great times
to apply 8-0-8 Palm Supplement. If you haven't
been using the supplement, you can begin at
any time.
HOW MUCH? 1. Measure the diameter (distance across,
not around) of the trunk, at a point approximately
2 feet from the ground. 2. Use the following table to determine
how much to apply:

WHERE TO APPLY?
Evenly spread the appropriate amount of Palm
Supplement in a circle surrounding the trunk,
extending outward from the trunk to distance
3 to 5 times as wide as the trunk. Avoid piling
the supplement up against the trunk though.
WATER?
Water entire fertilized area thoroughly with
a hose to improve fertilizer efficiency. For
