Museum Palo Verde
Museum Palo Verde/Cercidium-parkinsonia hyb.
Very fast growing hybrid version of the classic Palo Verde. Provides the unique green trunks of the original only it grows faster, is cleaner, blooms better and has no thorns. Grows nearly as fast as Chilean Mesquite and can be used in just as many applications.

The number one selling desert tree in the Southwest! When you need a fast growing shade tree that uses minimal water and looks fantastic, this is the tree! Trees have been known to double in size in a year or so!
Willow Acacia
Willow Acacia/Acacia salicina
Another fast growing evergreen tree from Australia! Unique silver-blue leaves with a slightly weeping appearance make this tree useful for many landscape styles. Tree can be maintained with branches near the ground or pruned for a high canopy.

Wide growing umbrella shaped, Medium size tree. Provides soft, filtered shade. Super fast growing tree. Very durable heat & cold.
Texas Ebony
Texas Ebony/Pithecellobium flexicaule
Probably the darkest green desert variety from the Sonoran region, Texas Ebony serves well for appearance and provides some shade as well. Naturally adapted to the intense sun and heat of the desert, it makes a great addition to many landscape styles, because of its dark color.
Palo Brea
Palo Brea/Cercidium praecox
This Sonoran native tree features unique green trunks that twist and turn to form interesting, irregular patterns throughout the tree. Highlights of golden blooms appear during mid spring. Makes a fantastic, focal point and provides great shade as well.
Palo Verde Blue
Palo Verde Blue/Parkinsonia florida
This is the classic Palo Verde that has been growing in the Southwest long before people were here! It's very well adapted to the desert and it's green trunks make a great show piece in desert stlyle landscapes. Year round shade is provided, with a cascade of golden flowers in mid Spring.
Shoestring Acacia

Very unique evergreen desert tree! Best in desert and mediterranean style landscapes. This extremely fast growing tree provides an incredible weeping effect, while using minimal water. Low litter and little pruning, once mature.
Acacia Anuera

Commonly called "Mulga". Extremely clean desert tree. Small to medium size tree. Very durable in heat & cold.
Ocotillo
Ocotillo/Fouguieria splendens
Ocotillo is used more as a larger accent than for a shade tree. It's looks can't be compared to anything else. Long canes of desert green that bloom fiery red at the tips make it practically a must for desert style landscaping.
Lysiloma
Lysiloma/Lysiloma bahamensis
The soft, fern like appearance without thorns makes Lysiloma one of the more unique of the desert varieties. These features also make it adaptable to every landscape style. Provides a wide umbrella of dense, yet filtered shade. Performs very well in the extremes of our deserts.
Mesquite Argentine
Mesquite Argentine/Prosopis alba
This mesquite is bright green and slightly weeping in appearance. Slightly more upright than Chilean mesquite, but grows just as fast and provides fantastic shade in a short time. At younger ages, these trees can double their size within a year or so!
Ironwood
Ironwood/Carpinus caroliniana
This very hardy, Sonoran native tree makes an excellent choice for the Xeriscape and desert style landscapes. Unique trunk patterns and foliage color make it a great focal point. Provides great shade and even gives a nice hint of color with lavendar blooms during late spring. It's native to the Sonoran desert, so you know it loves heat!
Desert Willow
Desert Willow/Chilopsis linearis
This has been a classic for decades across the Southwest. Tree grows with a willow like appearance with incredible blooms throughout the late summer all the way to mid fall. Very easy to maintain and handles all of the extreme temperature ranges of desert living.
Chiltalpa Tree
Chiltalpa Tree/Chiltalpa tashkinensis
This is a great choice for those desiring a desert tree, with a softer, greener appearance. Beautiful pink blooms are present from Summer thru Fall. Though a desert tree, it performs well in almost any landscape style.
Vitex Tree
Vitex Tree/Agnus-castus
Sometimes called the "Arizona lilac", Vitex trees serve well to provide shade and have a fantastic bloom period. Flowers appear as spikes of purple across the entire tree. In addition, the trunks usually twist and turn to provide a unique appearance to every tree. Loves the full sun and heat and grows pretty fast too.
Texas Mountain Laurel
Texas Mountain Laurel/Sophora secundiflora
Known well for it's fragrant, early spring blooms, Texas Mountain Laurel is grown more for it's looks than to provide shade. Purple blooms have a sweet aroma that's hard to describe, but some say it smells like Juicy Fruit gum or Grape Soda. Patience is required, as this isn't a fast growing variety. Green foliage is adaptable to any landscape style.
Cascalote
Cascalote/Caesalpinia cacalaco
This smaller desert variety gives a unique look and late spring color. Foliage color and shape put it right at home with Mesquite, Palo Verde and many other popular desert trees.
Sweet Acacia
Sweet Acacia/Acacia farnesiana
This Sonoran native is well know for it's beautiful and aromatic blooms during early Spring. In addition, it serves as a great shade tree, especially durning the hotter summer months. Once established, very little water is required.
